This layer is a combination of two separate layers (Xeric and Mesic Priorities) produced by TerrAdapt (https://terradapt.org/) for the Washington Shrubsteppe Restoration and Resiliency Initiative (WSRRI; https://wdfw.wa.gov/species-habitats/habitat-recovery/shrubsteppe). |

<div style='text-align:Left;'><div><div><p><span>The Washington Shrubsteppe Restoration and Resiliency Initiative (WSRRI; https://wdfw.wa.gov/species-habitats/habitat-recovery/shrubsteppe) created maps of spatial priorities for dry (xeric) ecosystems and wet (mesic) ecosystems in the Columbia Plateau ecoregion in Washington at a 100-m resolution. We combined these two ecosystem priorities into a single layer depicting the highest valued habitat category from either of the two ecosystem maps. Cores with the highest quality habitat received a score of 2. Growth Opportunity Areas (GOAs) were more degraded than cores but still had a significant amount of habitat that could become Core with restoration; these received a score of 1. Corridors received a score of 0.5. </span></p></div></div></div> |
