description: The United States and Puerto Rico, and Pacific waters of the Pacific contiguous states are attributed for flexibility. The marine coastline was copied from the WA DNR "Shorezone" data. The WA portion of the US/Canada and Washington state borders are from surveyed DNR boundaries. The Oregon coast is a 1:24k coastline from Oregon's data portal. The rest of the state boundaries are from an ESRI data disk. The Pacific marine zone boundaries come from NOAA. Attributes exist to allow selection by state, land or water, and some options for marine extent (3 Nmi limit by state, e.g). An attribute exists to allow shading of states using a four-shade scheme such that no two bordering states share the same shade.
