These reports are from public citizens, private entities, tribes, and government entities including Department of Fish and Wildlife. Reports are submitted through the below methods and then the AIS Unit compiles the data.

Subject: Aquatic invasive species (AIS) are destructive to the state's environment and economy. To help stop or slow the spread of these damaging species, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has created this feature class to inform boaters, kayakers, anglers, and anyone who recreates or works in Washington waters of infested waters. Stakeholders will be able to make informed decisions on decontamination protocols to prevent the spread of AIS.
