The ROAD layer is state lands forest roads connected to the general road network for the entire state of Washington. Other elements of the transportation network such as ferries, railroads, and trails are not included. Roads are edited mainly for DNR managed state lands or for updates to published map series. The ROADS layer includes basic attributes that are attached to the road segments from intersection to intersection, such as the organization's control and responsibility, status, access, surface, road classifications, abandonment authorization, and editing metadata. |
