Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD)
Washington's first case of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) has been confirmed in Spokane County, Game Management Unit 124. While there are no restrictions on hunting at this time, it is important for WDFW to collect samples for testing and we strongly encourage you to have harvested deer and elk tested prior to consumption. Yakama Nation Tract D
Highlighted on the map in red/orange is a portion of the Yakama Nation Indian Reservation known as "Tract D." Recently, a federal court ruled that Tract D is within the exterior boundary of the Yakama Nation. While there are no changes to the 2023-24 state hunting regulations within Tract D, please be extra cognizant that Tract D is within the Yakama Nation reservation. As with all landownerships and jurisdictions, hunting is a privilege and we remind you to please be respectful of landowners’ posted access requirements.

We've added some extra layers to help plan your hunt. However, Washington DNR Roads and NWCC Wildfire Layers, as well as all ESRI Basemaps, are not owned or maintained by WDFW. Any errors discovered in these layers cannot be corrected by WDFW.
