This data describes the year-round or seasonal presence of vulnerable Priority Species in Washington waterbodies.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Complying with timing window restrictions provided by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s (WDFW’s) Timing Window Map is required under the Department of Ecology’s Aquatic Plant and Algae Management (APAM) General Permit section S4.D.3.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>WDFW recognizes that aggressive treatment for emerging noxious weeds may sometimes be advisable during these treatment windows. Under APAM section S4.D.4, applicants may request a waterbody-specific, single-year modification to these timing windows. When an applicant seeks a timing window modification, Ecology consults with WDFW to determine ways to avoid, minimize, and mitigate harm to fish and wildlife. This dataset informs Ecology and WDFW what information is needed from an applicant seeking a timing window modification.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>For waterbodies not shown, WDFW has no information indicating the presence of vulnerable Priority Species of fish or wildlife. Accordingly, there are no timing window restrictions for waterbodies not shown.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
